The Lightly App: Privacy

The Lightly App has no account, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. What you do in the app stays on your phone.

What stays on your phone

Everything you write, pick, draw or keep in the app: your notes, beliefs, dreams, sigils and the choices you make in each flow. It is stored only on your device. We cannot read it. Deleting the app deletes it.

What leaves your phone

Two rooms use the internet. Nothing else in the app does.

• Astrology. The room fetches the day's reading from our server. The reading is the same for everyone. The request carries nothing about you: no birth data, no location, no identifier.
• Vibrational tuning. This room is a short guided conversation. What you type there, and the conversation so far, is sent through our server to an AI model provider (OpenRouter and the model it routes to) so that a reply can be written. Our server does not store it. No name, account or device identifier is sent with it. Please do not type anything there you would not want processed by an AI service.

Like any internet request, these reach our server from your network address. We do not keep request contents or link them to you.

The widget

The home screen widget shows your dream advice. It reads it from the app on your phone and sends nothing anywhere.

Children

The app is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If what the app sends ever changes, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
